GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS)

A geographic information system is a computer-based tool for mapping and analyzing things that exist and events that happen on earth. GIS technology integrates common database operations such as query and statistical analysis with the unique visualization and geographic analysis benefits offered by maps. These abilities distinguish GIS from other information systems and make it valuable to a wide range of public and private enterprises for explaining events, predicting outcomes, and planning strategies.

MAP CREATION PRICE STRUCTURE:

The cost to create custom maps varies depending on the project and size of the project area. In many cases, data layers already exist and only the layout needs to be adjusted making the cost much less than if data layers need to be created.

For maps that have already been created, please use the following price structure to determine the cost of printing the maps (in color):

A-SIZE (8.5" x 11"): $6.00 each                       B-SIZE (11" x 17"): $8.00 each

C-SIZE (17" x 24"): $12.00 each                      D-SIZE (24" x 36"): $15.00 each

E-SIZE (36" x 42"): $20.00 each

QUANTITY PRICING IS AVAILABLE FOR LARGER QUANTITIES OF THE SAME MAP. PLEASE CONTACT US TO DETERMINE THE COST OF DATA CREATION AND MAP LAYOUT FOR A SPECIFIC PROJECT.
