NEMCOG offers free assistance to Northern Michigan to become more energy efficient!
NEMCOG has been designated as a Rebuild Michigan Regional Technical Assistant (RTA). The Rebuild Michigan Program is administered by the Michigan Energy Office (MEO). A US Department of Energy designated state energy office, the MEO operates as a division of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Through the Rebuild Michigan Program, with assistance from the RTAs, the MEO works to promote increased energy efficiency within Michigan communities. As an RTA, NEMCOG assists in the performance of Introductory Energy Evaluations (IEEs) and energy efficiency outreach and education.
NEMCOG will provide an introductory energy evaluation free of charge to Rebuild Michigan Community Clients.
