Village of Posen Zoning Ordinance DRAFT

The Village of Posen Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on November 10, 2026, at 6:00 PM to recommend adoption of a new Zoning Ordinance to the Village Council. The new zoning ordinance will replace the current zoning ordinance in its entirety. The public hearing will be held at the Village Offices at 7103 E State Street, Posen, MI 49776. The full text of the new Zoning Ordinance is available here. Written comments may be sent to PO Box 126, Posen, MI 49776 prior to the meeting. The public may appear at the public hearing in person or by counsel. The new Zoning Ordinance includes the rezoning of multiple parcels in the village, including the following: 7259 STATE ST and 7285 STATE ST – rezone to C-1 and parcel 111-016-000-012-06 – rezone to C-F.
